Before you start bashing, I'll let you guys know that I am a Swiss in this situation. Also let the author do as he pleases, he owns the manga anyway. However, if NaruSaku fans could hear me out, you could still think of it this way. Naruto loved Sakura so much that he wanted her to be happy rather than make her love him even though it was futile. Yes it doesn't make sense that he gives up but Sakura and him were friends to her eyes than lovers and she's loved Sasuke all along. So Naruto basically gave up on Sakura in order to make her happy and give her what he thinks she deserves. Just think of Kishimoto's ending like this and leave him alone. Just blame the Ending's structure. Also Naruto shouldn't have ended with anyone imo. and that this petition is dumb. Get over the pairings and read some fanfics instead guys.

To say he is not good at writing is a bit much as he's been good till your pairing didn't happen Stop ben affleck. He's admitted he's not good with romance but that didn't stop you from enjoying it till you noticed who ended up with who in the end.
