The offer as it stands is utterly unacceptable and forces me and my family to take a huge reduction in retirement income.

These pension proposals are simply not fair - as a Captain I stand to lose £500K+ - First Officers even more so

I am disgusted at the stealing of my pension. This is a contracted right. I have suffered numerous cuts to my remuneration my whole career in British Airways and the pension is now the final straw.. no confidence in the current “ leadership” team or my own union. British Airways are attempting to steal my pension when it is convenient and to rig the figures to fool people into thinking it in unaffordable going ahead..

Stop being greedy BA. We've had enough of being told there is no money while we make record profits.

There is only one way to describe these changes to our pensions: horrific. It is clear that the consequences to all but the most senior of members are irrelevant. In particular the most junior members of NAPS will have their financial future decimated by the combination of this proposal and the tax system; they will also face a devastating career decision because becoming a Captain will carry financial penalties that will negate the benefits of their promotion! This is completely unacceptable. Further from a Human Factors perspective its creates an obvious risk to Flight Safety. Appalling.

I believe the proposed closure of NAPS will have a disproportionate affect on my planned retirement and will renegade on the contract I signed for a pension based on my final salary. A open discussion with the trustees is required to answer my questions.

Record profits & share buy back but unwilling to fund staff pensions. Have your cake & eat it springs to mind.

As above... this is deferred pay and a broken promise to please short term, faceless investors.

And wait for the company to post record profits the following year. Enough Terms and Conditions have been eroded.

This is deferred salary, a broken promise if they close the pension
