May we please be granted extension, the new procedures of Namra have made getting tax cases and queries closed and finalized quite lengthy, and one needs to keep going back to have things rectified or contact the pension funds for necessary documentation.

Namra is intentionally busy with efforts to make amnesty program fail. They do NOT have the capacity nor the manpower for what they are trying to achieve. Just on audits...there are more audits generated on a monthly basis than there are days available in a year, what is their plan to catch up? Problems take forever to be resolved, taxpayers are treated rudely and extremely unprofessional and the current status of impression is that ALL taxpayers are criminals and shall be treated like that. The system does not speak to the Act. New regulations are made without notifying anyone. System creates more problems than what can be resolved on a daily basis, as the system is not tested before changes go live. Not sure why they have telephone and email hotlines, as those are not used and no responses are ever received. Endless resubmitting of documents without matters being resolved, endless writing of letters of very easy things that can be immediately corrected and addressed. How do they intend to solve the past where people simply do not have the documents anymore as they did not issue assessments in time or processed returns in on time. The list is simply too long to put all here, but now we need to collectively come together and say enough is engough.
