Namor the Sub-Mariner is a fictional comic book character in the Marvel Comics universe, and one of the first superheroes, debuting in Spring 1939. The character was created by writer-artist Bill Everett for Funnies Inc., one of the first "packagers" in the early days of comic books that supplied comics on demand to publishers looking to enter the new medium. Initially created for the unreleased comic Motion Picture Funnies Weekly, the Sub-Mariner first appeared publicly in Marvel Comics #1 (Oct. 1939). By signing this petition you are hereby supporting the notion that this character should be considered as downloadable content for the game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2.

Updates

October 28, 2009

I have been spending my nights digging through the archives to find the right people to contact at the studio. It is frustrating that they haven't sent a response yet but I refuse to let this go until we see Namor in the game.

Seeing this level of enthusiasm for Namor honestly floors me. It means so much to see other fans share my passion for bringing the Sub-Mariner back into the game.
