A big thanks to Kegel's Produce owner Kenny Myers, McCaskey Class of 1989, for his strong support! https://lancasteronline.com/opinion/letters_to_editor/in-strong-support-of-ewell-olympic-plaza-letter/article_65748e98-2571-11e9-9665-fbc7671cecb8.html?fbclid=IwAR3MUlg9k4ymCqDM6kBNlFxnn7GUu5gT9NUPDgbQzMVkviLxERMW73dd-Fk

They never should have taken his name off of the stadium. They need to make this right

My mother was his nurse when he was Conestoga View. The stories he told her was uplifting. Our community needs more diversity and the history of this great athlete should be included for generations to come, in the city of Lancaster...jd

I can think of no one from Lancaster County more deserving of such an honor.

What an outstanding individual he was. My remembrance of him is funny I was sitting behind him at a McCaskey Football game and he put his gum behind his ear till after the game was over. Made me smile.

I'm an ESL tutor. I used the story of Barney Ewell with my students. Important champion in our city's history.
