As many of you know, this year the Dean of the College of Education as well as a few other faculty members have asked US AS STUDENTS to read our own names at graduation. What the Dean said in our class today (EDST 343) in terms of reading our own name: -the ceremony will be shorter (are we in a time limit all of a sudden?) -reduce mistakes that happen. I, as well as many other members of the Education Foundations Cohort ask that you please SIGN THIS PETITION so that we can have someone say our name as we walk across the stage. We have all worked so hard--and should be honored by having someone say our name (not doing it ourself). This takes one second. Let's be a unified front and voice our opinion as graduates of the College of Education. Thank you.
