What an amazing man! He has been so inspirational in his fight against cancer in showing the younger generation what faith , courage and determination can achieve . This would be a fitting tribute to a real man of Steele . There will never be anyone like him in Rugby League again

Man of steel award should reflect as the name suggests, and Steve was and will always be remembered as a true man of steel. A fitting remembrance of this man would be the trophy to be named in his memory.
