I think she deserves this more then anyone she's done so much for this school that it's a shame to see her go but the least we can do is dedicate the theater in her honor!

If the students think it is really honorable to let it be named after the teacher, I think it should be. I do not attend JVHS but I do attend LHS in South Carolina, and when we have a special teacher, usually one who has passed away, rip, we name memorials after them, even students. Like at my high school, we have a brick patio, no one is allowed to stand on it, and it has the name of students and teachers who have passed on that we cherish dearly. We even have a bench, not meant to be sat on, named after one student, Elyis Harden, she was leaving the school and got in a terrible car crash. Rip. She was a dear friend, so you should name the theater after the teacher. It's honorable, and special to the student.
