Mrs. Morrison has changed the lives of many young adults. She has taught responsibility, motivation, self confidence, along with many other great qualities. It's all shines in every individual when in that theater! I wouldn't know of anybody who is more deserving. Thank you for all you have done for me Mrs. Morrison. You are a blessing. XO

Melva was a huge influence in my daughter, Jessica's life . She taught her to believe in herself and was instrumental in getting her thru high school. She deserves this for all those who have been a part of her life at JVHS

Morrison changed my life in so many ways. For many of us, she introduced us to and gave us the gift of music. She is someone who will have an impact on me for the rest of my life. Choir in general was an amazing opportunity, but I'll definitely never forget my time in chambers. She is such an amazing woman. ❤

Mr Morrison has commited her life to positively impacting each of the individuals who walked through her door since the early 1990's, when JV was originally opened. By my math she is by far the longest tenured and arguably the most influencisl teacher this school has had. I owe much of my personal and career grow h the the foundation she provided me in those 4 important year s of my life. I sincerely thank you Ms Morrison. You will never know what you did for me and the impact you had on my life.

She has inspired so many. The theater named after her is the least we can do to show her love.

I can't think of someone more deserving of this honor then Mrs. Morrison. In some ways she is like a second mother to me since I not only had her as a choir teacher in grade school but was also fortunate to have her teach me in high school. She helped me (and so many other students) find the music that lives in our hearts.

Mrs. Morrison is one of those special people who might only be in your life for a short while, but the lessons she teaches and the love she shows stays with you throughout a lifetime. Naming a theater after her that she has performed in for over 20 years would only be a small beginning to what this woman deserves for all of the lives she has touched.
