I do not know where Mrs. Morrison finds the energy and time to care so much about each of her students. I do know that she does, and that she has an amazing ability to connect with and inspire those she teaches. She made a difference to me, and to each of my many siblings who was taught by her.

Melva has proven her dedication and devotion to music and teaching for many years and if you listen/read to any of her former students remarks/comments on facebook etc. she has also proven her kindness and loyalty to not only the classroom but to the individuals that make up the class.

Mrs. Morrison deserves this. She not only taught us the importance of music but also friendship. Some of the people I have come across in her classroom are now some of my closest friends and I am forever great full for her presence in my life.
