I have been reviewing the memories shared by many of you regarding Coach Henson and his impact on our community. These stories reinforce the importance of honoring his legacy at the State Farm Center. Preparations are underway to formally present these requests to the university administration.

I got to meet Lou when I was a kid and it was one of the best days of my life. He told me that he would be recruiting me when I got in high school. Turns out, I wasn't a very good basketball player but meeting him that day left a very big impression on me!
Lou was a great coach! It would only be right to name the court after him instead of a corporate sponsor....where is the sense of pride?

About time! Lou is a legend and the state farm center court should absolutely have his name on it.
