My oldest child and nephew are in the lower elementary and I have two more of my children that will attend in years to come. The more familiar items they see the more stable they are.

The new Junior High School in Swartz should be called Swartz Junior High. The Gators should be the mascot. The colors were royal blue and gold. Whose idea would it be to change that???

Swartz will always be Swartz. Blue and gold were the colors and "gators" were the mascots. Don't tell the gators family got together and was offended by the use of their name as the mascot. This school will be located with the vicinity of Swartz needs to be named Swartz Jr. High. Don't change traditions.
