We , the people of Swartz , would like to get the NEW School name to be Swartz Jr High . Also to keep the mascot "The Gators" & to have the SCHOOL COLORS ...LIGHT GREY & RED ! ........Most of us have been in Swartz for many decades , we support our schools , and we feel very strong about the Name, Colors & most of all OUR MASCOT to remain THE GATORS .....PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION ..IT WILL BE TAKEN TO THE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING and presented for these request to happen !!! .........Many Thanks ! ..........

I grew up in Swartz and went to Swartz Elementary grade 1-8. We were Gators and colors were Blue and Gold.Colors and mascot should remain the same. I'm 69 years old and still have my school yearbooks. Tradition is everything.
I was raised in Swartz and agree with all the suggestions listed on petition. We are the Swartz Gators and need to be recognized as Swartz Jr. High School! I'm proud to be raised up in Swartz and proud that I raised my four children in Swartz!
Keep our Swartz history alive! I'm a fourth generation native of Swartz. My great grandfather arrived there with Edward G. Swartz to work in the timber business.
My oldest child and nephew are in the lower elementary and I have two more of my children that will attend in years to come. The more familiar items they see the more stable they are.
Name it Swartz Jr High

It would be very cool to have the Blue and Gold Swartz Jr. High Gators back again. I was in 7th grade the last year it was open. They closed it down and bussed all of us halfway across town Ouachita Parish Jr High. I loved Swartz and I didn't care about school after that. I'll always be a proud Swartz Gator. Bring it back!
