Coach Brown was not only a great coach, but he was a male role model that most guys didn't have growing up. He gave everyone a chance, and I will always have his back. I fully 150% support the field being named after him. I have a great memory of him and what he used to call us when we were out of line "Come here you cheeseburger". Much respect #42.

I can't think of a more deserved honor for a man who's values, ethics, and moral compass is unmatched. Baseball is the platform that gave this incredible man the opportunity to teach young men to respect each other as well as the game of baseball. He always got the best out of his players. His life lessons are still at the core of who I am today.

Coach Brown was my coach for 2 very formative and tough years. He cared for all of us and taught us much more about respect and "life" than most any other coach I had. Coach Brown deserves the honor of the field being named after him after his commitment to Suffolk's student athletes over his long career.
