Bill Haskett was my principal in high school. As an angsty teen, I went through a difficult period of time with my parents. Bill was a sympathetic but responsible listener and mentor. When I was at the point when I felt that all adults were evil, Mr. Haskett proved me wrong.
Later, when I was involved in the Katy High School Alumni Association, I saw the tireless volunteer hours he gave and had given for years and years.
Everyone I know from Katy knows and loves Bill Haskett. I think that he is an amazing choice for a school to be named after.
