❤ what a great way to keep Curtis Bartlett's name and memory alive along with his legacy of "live inspired." A Carroll County Sherriff deputy that always went above and beyond for the children in his community.

Need to HONOR a man who served our country in the military and was a police officer who worked in the school as resource officer. Died in the line of duty.

I played football with Curtis. He always pushed you to do your best and never put you down. Galax field should most definitely be named after a man of such respect and honor

It would not only be an honor to the Bartlett family and name but it would most importantly honor a man who lived a life that defined what it means to be inspired. For the field to be named after my cousin wouldn't be just a memorial but a legacy of inspiration for our future generations!

I am a fellow law enforcement officer. Curtis was a good officer and great human being. He is greatly missed and deserves this honor.

Curtis was such a sweet soul! I remember walking up the Galax High School football field stadium steps when I was a senior at halftime during a football game. He was in 7th grade then (same grade as my oldest nephew) and he stopped me and asked me to autograph his sports program. ❤️ He epitomized school spirit from that young age and on!
