Final supporters
We, the parents, staff and students of St. Peter-Marian Jr. Sr. High School and Holy Name Jr. Sr. High School request the removal of Michael Clark as Acting Principal of the merged schools and request that Ed Reynolds, current Principal of Holy Name, be named the Principal of the merged schools. Ed Reynolds has given over 2 decades to the diocese and to our students. He is the right choice for the position.

Mr. Reynolds is one of the big reasons Holy Name is a family. The school pride and sense of community starts at the top with his leadership and continues through the teachers, staff, students, parents, and alumni.
Mr.Reynolds greeted me every morning with a smile and a hello. Highlight of my mornings and what I looked forward to. He helped motivate me through every day. Don’t rob another child the same joy he provides. You’re shooting yourself in the foot if you lose him.
My daughter is an incoming freshmen accepted into HN and I an alumni of HN , and when I see a principal, outside the school picking up trash the day I dropped my daughter off to shadow, speaks volumes to me, about his dedication to HN
It is sad to see the outdated management style in this merger situation. It is clear Mr. Reynolds is the leader needed in this situation. Someone who's approachable, who has an open communication style and is visible to everyone everyday; someone who's not afraid to talk with people.
As a former student of Mr. Reynolds and a parent of a prospective freshman this decision is scary. I can truly say this weighs heavily on our decision to send our child to this new school, and not in a good way.
Gotcha
Mr Reynolds has given so much of himself to Holy Name over the all the years he has been there. He is an amazing example of a Catholic educator. He is the type of leader I want my children to have. I never wanted to consider a differnt school other than a Diocesan High School for my children, but the direction of this merger is making us reconsider. I'm losing my faith in the Diocese ability to make the right choices for my children.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ed Reynolds in the past. Ed is a person of high integrity who has the experience of the day in, day out machinations at the high school. He would be, by far, the best choice to lead the new Worcester Catholic Central High School.
