I believe that East High Football Field should be named after the Late Fred Medina, Mr Medina helped me get over a traumatic situation while attending school at Aquinas Institute. He landed his hand out to me and was able to help me transfer to East High School in the middle of my senior year. He helped me get into prep school (Bridgton Academy-maine) and he also helped me with my decision to attend James Madison University where we ended up winning our 1st Division 1AA National Championship. Recently I was Inducted into the Hall of Fame, there was 1 person that I wish could've have witnessed my induction and that was Mr. FRED MEDINA. I am forever grateful for him and it would mean so much to not only me, but to other past students/student athletes that he have mentored throughout his life. Please consider naming East High Football Field after the Late Fred Medina. Thank you

NO ONE has done more to help city athletes receive athletic scholarships than Fred Medina. He’s impacted, changed and possibly saved more kids lives than anyone I’ve known in my 30 years of teaching.
