Most of the time I spent with coach from age 12 through 18 was in that gym. The lessons learned there are a major part of his legacy. In my mind that has always been his gym. Putting his name on it is the right thing to do.

Coach was the reason that I didn't drop out of school. He was such a mentor to every student. He truly cared about every student. Always made hisself available anytime so ine had a problem. He was and always will be Crystal River High School

The CItrus County School Board (District) is being Petitioned to name the CRHS Gym in Archie Dabney's name and honor. This community has spoken, please honor the man who served this community and school district for nearly 40 years of exemplary service.

This man is so deserving of any, and every award they can be bestowed on him. The unknown number of students that he has mentored, helped, loved over the years, is beyond anything an educator had to do. He loved us “kids” from the bottom of his heart.

A great man. Helped me with getting into CFCC in the 70's. Crystal River was lucky to have him. Everyone has so many positive things to say about him. He cared.
