This should really be a no brainer. There is hardly a person in this county much less a CRHS alumni that was not positively impacted by Coach. Please make this happen.

The Gym at Crystal River High School should be named after Coach Archie Dabney. He was a wonderful man, Coach, counselor and mentor to so many students.

Having known this man personally (he was my father's high school coach, came to MY high school games when I was playing just to watch because he was also my father's coach, AND would come back to watch games when I started coaching myself at CR, this is a no brainer for me. Coach Dab has positively and passionately given back not only to CR high school, but the entire Citrus County community and beyond. I love this man as if he was one of my own. Would be an embarrassment and severe missed opportunity to not do this to show our appreciation and gratitude as a community for all he has done and given.
