The driveway going into the arena could also be named: Wuhr Way

Many years ago our village came together in order to have the arena built for the children of the village. Mr. we are donated land and many others donated money buying shares to bring this to reality. My grandfather, Daniel Breau brought shares which I still have today. Without the donation of the land from Mr. Whur, our children would never have had the privilege of having the arena. I think this is long overdue and without a doubt should be renamed. It is a respectable thing to do.

I grew up in Minto and live there a portion of the year and would love to see Louis Wuhr’s name added to the building. As a personal friend of the family I saw the generosity that man had for the community. I’m honoured to sign this petition and I look forward to seeing his name added to the arena. It’s long overdue.

Absolutely agree with this petition! Louie was a incredible staple in our community and opened up his land so our children would have a place to learn the love of skating and most of all hockey !! The name change would be a show of most respect and high honour!

Mr Wuhr was a very kind and generous man; so deserving of this honour. To change the name of the arena to include his name is certainly how it should be
