Ariel Rios was an excellent Special Agent, served with distinction and loss his life doing what he took an oath to do. It was President Reagan's desire to honor him by name ATF's Headquarters after him. This petition supports that desire.

It seems much more appropriate to honor a special agent who was killed in the line of duty. Bill Clinton has enough honors.

This building was named in honor of a true hero. I should not be replaced with the name of a man that would not fight for this country.

I was the first recipient of the Ariel Rios Memorial Leadership Award at ATF New Agent School. I have never forgotten the ultimate sacrifice paid by Special Agent Rios and neither should his Agency and his government. Please restore the due and proper name to ATF HQ.
