Congress intended that the ATF HQ be named after Ariel in perpetuity. When the new HQ was constructed his name should have been moved to the new building. It was not. It is time this error was corrected.

As far as I'm concerned, the new building should have maintained the Ariel Rios title in the first place. Best wishes for the petition drive.

As a retired Special Agent in Charge of the Boston Field Division and a career as an ATF agent, there could be no greater honor than to name the new ATF Headquarters after Ariel Rios. During this turbulent time that seems to have evoked and anti-police rhetoric honoring Ariel would illustrate that our nations law enforcement officers are willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice to protect and guard our fellow citizens against the evils inherent in our society.
