I have finalized the formal proposal document for the Unicode Consortium to address this omission. Technical specifications for the icon design are currently being reviewed by a consultant.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to transition this into a formal inquiry with the Unicode Consortium. I am currently drafting the technical proposal that outlines the necessity of this addition for their submittal process.
