The North Willamette Bikeway Development Project will: 1) Remove over 100 much needed parking spaces from local residents. 2) Will make N. Willamette Blvd. a constant thoroughfare with no parked cars on the street, increasing the likelihood that more motorists will speed and making it less safe for cyclists, pedestrians, motorists, the acutely local citizens and all others that use N. Willamette Blvd. 3) Be a misappropriation of funds to simply re-paint the lines on the street as it will decrease the quality of living on N. Willamette for existing residents while simultaneously creating a more dangerous N. Willamette Blvd. for all stakeholders.
