Called EC last Wednesday to confirm that my ballot papers have been posted. They advised that it was posted on Tuesday and that it will arrive latest by Friday. It’s Sunday, 06.05.18 now in Brisbane and I’ve still not received my papers. Monday is a public holiday therefore I’ll MAYBE only get it by Tuesday. How am I supposed to get it back to Malaysia by Wednesday when Australian courier can only get it back (fastest) within 1-2 days.

I didn't receive any text message from postal company yet. Don't even know what's going on with my postal voter status. The voting system is very very poor. Demanding a fair solution!

I've registered as overseas postal voter, only got to check at SPR site that my location of vote is still remain in Malaysia. I didn't receive any information or notice at all. The voting system is really poor and not friendly at all. Feel like the government doesn't want us to vote at all! One of my friend who registered with me on the same day, at the same place, called to the embassy and found that her application is approved. I didn't call and check for mine. Assuming mine is approved as well. However she hasn't received her postal ballot yet. May 7 is public holiday in Korea. Even if we receive the postal ballot on May 8, it's impossible to send back by May 9 5pm at all!!!! We need a fair solution!

Received a message from DHL there will be a delivery for me from Malaysia schedule on May 9. After checking with my siblings in Malaysia, I am sure this is my ballot paper. There is no way I can return it back to Malaysia on the same day ! Please let me know what I can do to ensure that my vote is counted. Thank you.

It's May 4th now, and it's Friday. I'm in US and I haven't receive my ballot. If it's not arriving by Monday, my vote won't be able to reach Malaysia by 9th. The fastest express shipping is 1-3 days, cost more than hundred dollars, but it's worthwhile if my vote can arrive in time....

8½ working days between nomination and polling? This is a freaking joke. It seems almost impossible to receive our ballot and send back in time.

Hi there, I'm a Malaysian citizen and is there any possibility to vote from States? Because I don't want to hold back my rights as "Anak Malaysia". Thank you very much. Have a good one
