My Building Permit Is Taking Too Long! Please Help!

My new build house permit took 3 years. We as customers waste a lot of money to wait for a building permit. For example rent, storage, inflation, etc. Something needs to change.

My permit took over 2 yrs, That being said we had to pay thousands of dollars for storage, and rent. My Aunty & Uncle both in there 90’s life was on hold due to permit issues. As they were to live us. Subsequently they had to move into an assisted living place. Which in turn cost thousands each month. People who are waiting on permits are suffering financial, having to pay for a mortgage and then renting somewhere to live and storing they belongings while waiting on permits.

Department of Building and Permits takes to long because they are corrupt!! Homeowners need to step up and take action! Contractor’s can only do so much! You want your house build in a timely manner ?!! Join in the fight to help the Construction industry!

This has been an issue for quite some time. It's gotten worse and needs attention ! We are losing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

My business is in jeopardy dour to the long delay in permits. We need action from government now. Hold Dpp accountable for slowing the economy and putting jobs in jeopardy!!!

I’ve personally seen and experienced the dpp and its a mess. I’m shocked it’s still an issue, why are we still here in 2022?! Nothing has changed.
