This is sad! If anything the only thing that should have been done is that they should have to pay for the chickens killed. If it was any other breed this is what would have probably been done. Very sad.

I think the law needs to be rewritten! It's so sad for this to have happened ! I seriously doubt they have their chickens sleep in their bed, like a pet would. Question : If a raccoon or hawk gets a chicken , who goes to court ! .

Please give Rebel a chance. Dont make an example of him because of his breed. Him killing the chicken is no different than killing a squirrel running loose in the yard. Please people have a heart and do the right thing! My prayers are with Rebel and his family!

This is ridiculous, a dog is a dog (predator) and a chicken is a chicken (prey). What do people expect a dog to do when faced with a chicKen, expecially a prey that has been pestering the predator. Come on this dog should not be euthanized ! The owner of the chickens should be charged for not securing them safely from predators (coyotes, hawks, ect).

They should of just said give us the money for replacement of chickens. Or how about them keeping them pinned up on their property. Don't kill this puppy. Put in hiding.

This does not sound like the dog was aggressive to me. it sounds to me that this judge doesn't like the breed. What if it was a lab? Would it be sent to die, probably not. This is disgusting to me.

A life lost cannot be brought back in any way. So why do we need to take another life? Especially when everyone knows this is just an accident and not anything intentional. Even the law does not allow for death sentence to be used for the driver of a car accident.

I find no point to put the dog to sleep. Anyone make mistake. Human too. So do human sentence to put to sleep? No right?
