My 3 year old dog sentenced to euthanization for only playing..

If we euthanize a dog for accidentally killing a chicken, then we should all be euthanized for accidentally hitting and killing all sorts of animals on the highway.

Give this dog a chance!!!!!! He is like someone's child... They don't allow their dog to run free it was an accident however those chickens were running free and anything could have gotten them, like a hawk or snake. DON'T PUT THE DOG TO SLEEP

Let this dog live. He didnt do anything at all. Why are the neighbours too sensitive? Dogs definitely loves to be friendly & want to make friends with another animals. Pls let the dog off. He deserve to live with his family. Its just a chicken which everybody eats. If one day their neighbours were to go starving, their last resort would definitely to eat their own chicken isnt it?! Lets be reasonable. Its just a dog. Animals just wanna play.

Do not kill this poor pup! Animals kill other animals nonstop. Human race sits here and kills animals for their own pleasure. This poor pup did nothing more than play with a few chickens and sadly the chickens didn't make it. But that does not mean this pup is a monster. He is still loved. He still has a family. He still loves others himself. Euthinization is a route only cowards take and enforce on such a sweet animal that was only playing.

If chickens were running free my pit would probably unintentionally end up killing them out of excitement to play as well. This is absurd.

It's in a dogs nature to go after chickens. My dog has killed chickens before and nothing ever happened to him. The neighbors shouldn't have been letting the chickens into the dogs yard.

This dog should nt be put down for this. Other actions need to be taken first to make sure it doesn't happen again. I hear of dogs attaching cats, dogs and even biting kids all the time and they are not put down.

This is horrible that they would kill him over this. I will pay for the neighbor to replace her chickens but she needs to have her chickens in a coop also to prevent this
