Petition for a full member ballot vote on items #1 and #2 Proposed Bylaw Amendments on email from MVCC dated 5/8/26.

1) Revision to the date of the Annual Meeting: It is hard enough to get members to attend Annual Meeting when its known a year advance, by changing it to be flexible in the week of voting will only make it more confusing and less attended.

2) Limit term of BOD to two (non-consecutive) elections. This seems to target only 5 people that I know of: Rob Warren, Bill Schellenberg, Jeff Crosier, Mike Foley and myself. All five apparently have the respect of the members, as they were duly elected twice, and the current board for some reason wants to limit this.

In signing this petition, you are saying you don’t approve the board’s proposed bylaw amendments and want it to go out to a member vote. Assuming we get the required signatures, the board can either send a vote out to the members or may withdraw their proposed changes to allow more discussion.
