Ill respective, expletive degrading name such as this, ON USA Soil Ghetto Lane- Poteau, Oklahoma In a recent visit to a Small City in Oklahoma, By the Name of Poteau. Where most of my Family was Born and is laid to Rest. I came to learn that there was a Place by the Name of Ghetto Lane. I was quite concern, disappointed & at the very least appalled to find out in this Beautiful place North East in Oklahoma had a Street Named: Ghetto Lane & Here in America One Resident of this street states he named it Ghetto Drive. - U.S. Postal Service stated it is Ghetto Lane. But, that besides the point. Truly, I am unable to Phantom this type of appalling naming on OUR soil here in this Great Nation of OUR\'s Any where, within any State, on any Street, Lane, Drive, Road, Court etc.. So, I took the time out to speak with the Mayor Jeff Shockley and he stated that the resident\'s would need to sign for the Street name to be changed. I questioned Mayor Shockley, How could that possibly manage to happen When, one of the resident\'s is claiming that he is the one that choose that name & being the Water Dept. Manager of YOUR Rural Little City. Do you Mr. Mayor Jeff Shockley see this happening Then with another resident on this Ghetto Lane working for the local Water Dept also! Mr. Mayor *Odds might be- What 2 to 2 Mayor Shockley then stated that is all he could do. Really Ended that visit with him, I stated that I would be contacting Governor Brad Henry of his State, Local Respresentative\'s & Oklahoma State Senator\'s. Even, generate a petition if need be. Due to, How many American Citizen\'s would allow or tolerate this kind of naming of any place. Being such an ill choose in The United States of America. This type of Naming is nothing to be Proud about! Mr. Mayor Shockley went on to say, That I would not want to do that - I stated to him, you have given me No other choose. I am now Seeking your support in signing this petition so I may submit it to Local & State Goverment - In order to show WE as Citizen\'s will not tolarate such poor ill chooses... Allowing this such naming Anywhere here in the USA In Gov.
