Honorable Senators,

Under the auspices of the Islamic Information Center, the following signatures have been collected from members of the Muslim Community in America in order to convey our support of H.R. 847 – the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010.

As American Citizens, we demand the Public Health Service Act be amended in order to provide improved and extended health services to those who heroically risked their well-being in order to serve their fellow Americans during the aftermath of the heinous terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.  These men and women braved horrendous conditions in order to fulfill their patriotic duty, and we must not forget their service. You must pass H.R. 847 without further delay.

The perpetrators of the 9/11 attack acted against the noble and peaceful teachings of Islam, as taught by Prophet Muhammad and Holy Imams (May God Bless Them), and accordingly we stand together with all other Americans in opposition to terrorism, wherever it may exist. In order to defend the innocent victims of terrorism, to support those who gave their lives to combat terrorism, and to support the emergency responders who sacrificed their health on the day of September 11th, 2001, H.R. 847 must be voted in to law.

God bless all the families and the first responders. This should be an easy choice for congress.

Thinking of the families today. They shouldnt have to fight for basic healthcare after what they went through.

These heroes risked everything. They deserve the medical care they were promised. Pass this now.
