Music camp. It is a beloved educational program that has yet to continue to thrive at Leeming Senior High School. It is an ongoing tradition for over a decade, and a program that not only enables students to gain a wide range of skills but also brings them together to build community. Many students base their subject selection on joining the music program, with the idea of attending music camp. We believe it is extremely unfair to obstruct the music students from this annual celebration, as music camp builds long-lasting friendships and creates the aspiring music culture that displays Leeming SHS values of harmony and excellence. We have been left in the dark without a proper reason for the cancellation. When we were informed about the cancellation, the hardships and constant practice these music students have been through were not considered in this decision. The Leeming SHS music community needs your help to get our music camp running! Every signature matters.
