Soldiers and police were doing their duty to the Queen by killing citizens without trial or human rights. They got their rewards: medals, pay,;pensions and respect.
Their memory belongs
to the establishment--not with those their murdered.

It never ceases to amaze me the lack of common sense by public and private organizations in Ireland that commemorate the villains alongside the victims. Disgraceful.

The armed, trained British soldiers can be commemorated at the Imperial War Museum or their regimental museums if they like. The Derry Museum should keep faith with the unarmed civilians.
