I’m 100% in favor of letting parents choosing versus trying to mandate anything.

Our children our choice NO mask Mandate in schools!

Please, please keep masks optional! Personally, I am a mask-WEARER and I absolutely believe they are helping and that we should do it. But I believe that's MY CHOICE and if someone else doesn't WANT to wear a mask, FOR ANY REASON, that's THEIR right as well. That shouldn't be taken away from them! If mask-wearers are concerned about exposure and health risks, they also have lots of options that WON'T take away someone else's choice. If distance learning, homeschooling, remote, whatever doesn't "work" for their family, then perhaps their family's health isn't really the top priority for them. I have a HUSBAND who is a teacher in the district, so I really get this from all sides - working parent, teacher and student in our family. Please DO NOT TAKE AWAY OUR CHOICE!

Please respect parents rights to know what is best for their child. There are schools all over the country who have not mandated masks and have been able to stay open and keep their students safe. Please follow the laws of Az and do not play this game with children. Focus on other measures - hand washing, getting kids outside, encouraging healthy lifestyle choices - healthy foods, drinking water. Education is always better than mandating things your community does not agree with. Currently in Pima County, there are nearly zero pediatric cases of Covid in hospitals. The statistics do not support re-instating mask mandates. Thank you, Kelly Pinard

Let parents make the choices for their children! Let us be free!

We need to let our kids faces be seen. We know and understand there are many on both sides of this issue. But we need to give these kids a choice, we are not saying that kids can’t wear masks we are just saying let them choose. They should be able to see each other‘s faces! We are all intelligent adults and understand the risks of both sides and just want our children to understand that they have the freedom to choose!

It's time to stand firm as the only district left doing the right thing! Keep masks optional. Keep doctors and PARENTS making medical decisions for their patients and children. Choose to be a regional example of how to do it right.

Stop trying to mask our kids!! They need their immune system to do its job! Keep masks off our kids! It's up to me as their mom to make health care decisions for them. Not the school or the government.

Mask should be the choice of the parent not the school board or politicians.

The masks have caused problems with many of the school age students. I have. Personally watched this problems. Please screen the opposed to mandatory makes as well those who support them. The news media has distorted the facts badly. The numbers are exaggerated. When they were saying this new spike has flooded the hospitals., Banner only has three young patients associated with covid.

I as the parent have the right to decide. The fact that this is even being considered is disgusting and a mandate is nothing short of abuse

I am a mom of 4 in MUSD! I do not want to be told what to do with the health of my kids!
