Whereas, Music and the Arts should be an Integral part of a child’s upbringing and

Whereas, Municipal Elementary has a tradition of doing a play annually and

Whereas, this annual play serves as a bonding activity for the school and

Whereas, the play represents the school in a positive light in the community and

Whereas, the plays of the past years have produced positive attributes in many of the students who have participated and

Whereas, students at Municipal should have the option to investigate and develop these talents at an early age and

Whereas, students at Municipal should have the options of a choir/play just the same as students at other elementary schools in Roy and

Whereas, Mrs. Stokes has agreed to continue to serve as the choir conductor/play director and

Whereas, the play is self-sustaining financially; that is, it is does not create a financial burden to the school (the play is funded by ticket and concession sales and generous donations from community and business sponsors);

Now, Therefore; we, the below signed, attach our signatures for and in behalf of the Municipal Elementary School Choir/Play being an on-going activity for the benefit and enhancement of the school and its students.
