Mobile phones makers are like politicians. They promise a lot and once their products are bought they forget about their promises and leave us, customers with products with a great hardware but often buggy firmware that is rarely fixed by updates, not to mention lack of any chance of update to a newer version of phone’s system.
Bluboo offered multirom compatibility for their Xtouch phone. The phone was to receive multirom compatibility after launch. It has been 5 months since the launch of the phone and there is nothing close to receiving multirom compatibility. Bluboo Xtouch is a great midrange device with great hardware.
The aim of this petition is to achieve multirom compatibility for Bluboo Xtouch. The phone is equipped with 64-bit processor and 3GB of RAM. This is a very popular configuration of Chinese vendors. Yet other Chinese vendors, like Ulephone, can provide software that gives multirom compatibility.
I hope thanks to this petition Bluboo will notice that leaving its users unattended is not a good choice, and by providing multirom compatibility gives their user a choice we want to make. If this is not possible open yourself to development community. Cooperation with development community would allow faster updates and better products’ firmware what will give more user satisfaction. This in turn will show Bluboo’s openness to users of its devices.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you have joined this effort to get the support we were promised. This momentum belongs entirely to you because I never thought we would get this much attention for our devices.

I have given up my Xtouch(no update for 9 month), Bluboo is not a company giving any service after selling the phone. They are still advertise it as flagship! its a useless brick.
We need a decent software for this "on paper" good smartphone! BluBoo, you promised us that, and also a better hardware different that it is actually on board... So, you lied on hardware specification, will you also lie now on the software support? Update your policy and offer multirom for our BluBoo Xtouch!!

Hey, the mobile phone rocks but It's software needs to be updated or upgraded or even fixed ! laggy one and also the finger print keeps not working then works again .
Camera is one of the most important points to me too. CM support would be very nice and I think it will increase the sales!
For real, if they keep ignoring us I will never ever buy any of their phones again!
I agree with this petition and that Bluboo needs to be held accountable to the promises they made.

I align with all requests and demands so far in this petition for Bluboo to please wake up to its responsibilities to its Xtouch customers. Bluboo should not only provide official firmware updates for this great hardware for a reasonable number of years or OS upgrades, the company should also provide the open source development community with firmware codes to enable it greatly help support, maintain, and improve on this great top-of-midrange device.
