In this important election season, we should respect the right to free speech for ALL BU students. I'm sure many of you have seen a tweet posted to the internet by a fellow classmate, claiming that "Multiculturalism is cancer."
To blatantly say that the presence of, or support for the presence of, different cultural or ethnic groups within our community is "cancerous," is flat out wrong. It is something we will not stand for.
Let's utilize the strength of our own voices by signing this petition, respectfully affirming that multiculturalism is not a cancer to our community, but an infinitely valuable asset to our social end educational experiences.
