The Devil Cats are a local non for profit travel baseball organization. Year in and year out our travel teams and other local travel teams travel all over the capital region every winter in search for an indoor facility for a place for our athletes to train. We have the opportunity to put up our own building on our complex next to our 60/90 field located at Williams Rd for our league as well as others to use. The purpose of this building is a multi use facility not just for baseball/softball but also for our town residents to use as well. We will have a decent size gym available for Town of North Greenbush residents. Our facility will be free for the Town to use for rain days and heat advisories for the summer camp program.We will also donate money to town to assist with families struggling with summer camp fees. We would like to set up clinics for the summer camp free of charge in place of Valley Cats day. Free for our local little league to hold tryouts. Establishing this building in North Greenbush will stimulate all local businesses. Families will eat at our local restaurants and stop at local stores to shop while waiting for their child to finish practice. This building will not increase any more traffic flow. It will in fact not even create a 1/4 of the traffic flow for little league/travel games held at the complex. The Town would pay $0 for this building. The Devil Cats are petitioning the town to allow this building to be put up. I ask any and all Town residents to consider signing this petition to allow our athletes and residents a place in our town to go to.
