Hello Everyone,

My name is Muhammad Tariq and I would like to add my name in the running for Vice President. As VP, I will do my best to let your voices be heard as you all venture through your journey during 1L. In such a diverse class, I am excited to offer my services to help make each and everyone in our class successful while enjoying their time in school. With this responsibility, I want to ensure you that I will always have an open-door policy with you, whilst communicating with you in any way you find most convenient and making time for anything you want to share with me. The ideas shared to me, will be presented during the SBA meetings, and I will do my best to have them implemented.

A little about me :

I graduated from Wayne State University in 2019, and worked in the financial tech industry up until my admittance to Detroit Mercy Law.

In my past, I have been appointed Executive Director within the Metro Detroit Muslim community to help guide the upcoming youth. My duties involved meeting with parents to address concerns, setting up inter-faith events, and facilitating community service to underdeveloped areas within Michigan. I bring along this experience of engaging with a diverse population to our class!

I love to socialize, and am very much looking forward to our class outings together!
