The board finally caved and voted for the new recycling service which honestly feels surreal since we have been pushing for this for so long. It is wild to think about how much noise we made with those 349 signatures but I am just glad we finally get to stop …
If you live in Blackhorse Ranch neighborhood and would like to have curbside recycling services, like most of our surrounding communities, please sign this petition so we can better represent the level of interest to our MUD 371 board.
I really need everyone to grab their neighbors phones and get them on this list because hitting that triple digit mark is the only way the board sees that we are actually serious about getting bins out here. It is just sitting there stuck in the nineties and honestly it is driving me a little crazy thinking about all the plastic I have to haul away myself when we could just get this done.

BHR HOA and MUD 371 need to implement this and not dismiss this initiative like they have during previous attempts to get recycling.

No reason not to. Sent mud district proposal 2 years ago from our same provider from a near by subdivision which included 2 waste collections a week plus recycling for basically the same price we're playing now. We're at 26926 Marlan Forest ln.

This is very important to me. It hurts to know we could recycle 30-50% of our trash and we are not. I used to have curbside recycling in my old neighborhood which is totally not the signature neighborhood BHR purports itself to be....we are all this but we ignore recycling and the environment..??? thank you for this opportunity to try to make a difference.

Yes!! Please!! We need curbside recycling. All neighborhoods surrounding us have it. We’ve lived here since 2010 and this topic has come up numerous times. I’m not sure why this is so hard to get.

Yes!! Definitely on board with curb side recycling for BHR! We have needed this to happen for a long time! My husband takes cardboard weekly to be recycled, would be so nice to just put it on the curb.

I have been trying to get this started for years. My garbage would be cut in half if we were able to recycle. I haul off as much as I can but have found no where for plastic.
