The overall goal of the Anti-Racism Advocacy Project is to increase anti-racism activity on Monmouth University’s campus. One central project to promote this goal is to raise awareness for the need for the development of a Multicultural Center at Monmouth University. Our intended audience for the project is the population of Monmouth University. This includes graduate and undergraduate students, administration and faculty, the MU Board of Trustees, and organizations and clubs approved by Monmouth University. Having a Multicultural Center on campus would provide a hub of knowledge and resources for all students. It will be a place where students from all backgrounds and organizations are welcomed to advocate and stand together. Other future goals of this project are to support a more diverse enrollment within Monmouth University, provide students with a solution to barriers, and create a culture of equity within the University.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have joined this cause. We are approaching the 250 signature mark and your dedication is the only reason this momentum exists. If you can help us reach this goal today, I know the university will have to pay attention.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum we have built together lately. This progress belongs entirely to the students who saw the vision for a better campus and decided to speak up.

I truly never imagined that one hundred people would join in on this effort so quickly. It feels surreal to see so many of you backing the idea of a multicultural center for our campus. This is entirely because of your belief in a better university experience.

Myself and the activist groups are dedicated to making this campus a safer, more inclusive space for people of color, the LGBTQ+ population and other disenfranchised groups. Every effort counts!

MONMOUTH uNIVERSITY IS A HARD PLACE TO BE A MINORITY TRYING TO EDUCATE THEMSELVES. This era makes it very difficult to feel appreciated as a minority

We wont tolerate racism in any form, we we must do a better job of casting a wider net when recruiting future students and hiring a more culturally diverse faculty. Diversity is a must for our University Campus, we the students are the ones losing out. lets fix it!!
