MTV\'s Current of Season of Road Rules Insulting to the Issues of World Hunger and Eating Disorders

MTV\'s show \"Road Rules\", for those of you not familiar with it, is a show in which 6 people travel around in an RV and complete all sorts of \"missions\" to achieve prizes. Tonight\'s mission enraged and shocked me. In a nutshell, the 6 contestants were required to eat as much as possible in a 4-hour time span, with the objective of gaining at least 2.5 pounds each. The camera filmed each of them as they binged on unbelievable amounts of food, only to purge themselves at the end of the episode. Now, I don\'t know about you, but it\'s my opinion that with the extensiveness of World Hunger, not to mention the prevalence of eating disorders like Bulimia among the age group who watches this show, MTV showed a gross amount of social impropriety and irresponsibility as members of the media. This petition will be sent to MTV and Viacom Headquarters.
