Besides having a NEW "Olympic" size track with 110 meter turns and 90 meter straightaways, the athletic staff at MT SAC knows how to efficiently run a meet. I was talking to a starter, who had to DELAY a race, four minutes to stick to the schedule. Very efficient!!!
Former head track coach at Los Angeles State. Mt SAC is a great venue...good weather and a track & field positive crowd...enough of Eugene.
Having competed in the Ist Mt SAC Relays in 1959, as an Occidental spohomore, Whole heartedly support Mt SAC's bid to host the 2020 USA Olympic Trials in their new stadium and track & field facilities. The weather certainly will not be a hot as Sacramento.
Mt. Sac for the USA 2020 Olympic Trials would be the start of a new era in USATF. In terms of a new focus & attention to the sport in a Staduim with traditions from Elite-level down through the Colligates which connect the Youth from multicultural and economic backgrounds.
I have been involved in Mt. SAC Relays as a medical staff for the last couple of years and I strongly believe Mt. SAC has the greatest resources (Facility, location, organizing committee, and medical staff) to hold a big event such as the 2020 Olympic Trials compared to any other venues. I hope this actually happens!

I totally support MT SAC's Olympic Track & Field Trials Bid. Coach Hilmer Lodge was my Uncle and his wife Dorothy was my father's youngest sister.
