A group of community leaders, educators, parents, and business people is applying to the Fulton County School System to open a college preparatory charter school. Our goal is to provide a safe environment in which all children will achieve academic success through a strong curriculum focused on math and science with opportunities for hands-on learning. The school will be tuition free, and will be open to school children who are residents of Fulton County. Pending approval of the charter, the Academy will open in 2012 for grades K-4, expanding one grade level per year to become a K-8 program in 2016. By signing this petition, you attest to the fact that you are an interested community resident or the parent of a school aged child who could benefit from this opportunity, and you support the concept for the school.
