I adore Wolf-Haven, I've been there on and off since I believe '09-10, under different names.. I keep coming back.. Being a roleplay community there needs to be either a high or no character limit. It becomes difficult to improve when you're trying to watch out for the character count!
I'd like to focus on my writing, not how much I have to leave unsaid.

I honestly moved all my roleplays to Skype as getting on Wolf -Haven became impossible for a majority of the time. While this didn't affect me much personally, I feel it'd be best if the limit was raised exponentially. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, I'm sure it's not permanent.

I love wolf-haven, and have been on it for a few years now. This is primarily for roleplay, which I do at a advanced level, so this decreased character number is quite sad Dx I'm all for this petition!

The shorter limit is in fact very new, it was added with the update. The character limit has been drastically reduced from what it was. The idea box WAS used and had many positive votes, but vanished VERY quickly as a flood of ideas were posted after the update. I have been talking to Karlos about it as well. Your suggestions are fabulous, but have been considered. The 'point' of this was to hopefully show how many people are having trouble roleplaying on a roleplaying site because of the new limits. :) Good to hear the feedback so that people know why this has been done.

Yes, this petition needs to pass.
As Zim stated advanced is nearly impossible and spamming fourms with replies isn't really an option.

I completely agree with this petition! I do not role play in the forums because I forget about the role play very quickly. I always check my messages though, and I can see very clearly when someone has replied. It is much more efficient for me, and I'd love it if the character limit was increased.

The larger character limit in messages for the last major update was honestly one of my favorite things to happen! I'm upset that it was reduced again. It makes messaging and roleplaying through private messages very difficult and hard to follow.

Even though premium increases the limit, it needs to be high enough for non-paying members to roleplay advanced without having to spam the forum with multiple posts.

And then there are those of us who try to write thousands of words in response to a roleplay and have to send 3+ messages just to get a post out. It's a killer Dx
