This petition is to show our unwavering support of Ms. Kesha Hogue in becoming the Principal of Benjamin D. Foulois (BDF) Creative and Performing Arts Academy.
To date, Ms. Hogue has accrued a total of over 10 years of educational experience as an administrator at BDF. A contributory force to all BDF programs, MS. Hogue’s aptitude is noticed through her continuous efforts to integrate core educational instruction with elements of the performance arts. She has flawlessly worn numerous hats whether in her normal capacity as Assistant or acting as co- or interim principal, often interacting with students, meeting with parents, communicating with the school district and community organizations, and ensuring that the school remains in compliance with legal responsibilities.
She is a responsible yet personable individual that staff respect but also enjoy to work with and parents and students adore and admire. She is self-motivated and highly capable of propelling BDF to new heights.

I have known Ms. Hogue before Foulois was a CVPA school. She has always been there to assist the kids and parents. She is always available and responsive to requests and guidance. She is the type of leader we need at Foulois.
Ms. Hogue will be an excellent Principal.! My daughter who is a Junior in college still talks about her and the impact she has had with students.
I’ve had the honor of working with Ms. Hogue and found her leadership transformational. As I struggled to acclimate to secondary education, she connected me with the necessary resources, and provided guidance and coaching that made me feel supported. I owe my professional growth and success to Ms. Hogue. I fully support Ms. Hogue becoming Benjamin D. Foulois’ next school administrator.
In my opinion, Ms. Hogue would be a logical choice as we transition into new leadership because of her knowledge and awareness of the school climate and families, as well as her leadership over the years.
Ms Hogue is exactly what our school need in a Principal as she is Instructionally sound and is able to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents. She is also able to maintain a safe and orderly teaching and learning environment!!!
Keep in mind, if Ms. Hogue does not get principal there will likely be an exodus of teachers.
For those who do not know Ms Hogue is the backbone and foundation of our school. We need to let people know!!!

Having worked at BDFCPAA under Ms. Hogue, I can't think of anyone more suited or qualified to lead Foulois.
