So unfair what is happening to such a good person and wonderful teacher and friend to many. And because of a principal negative evaluation?

I was a student at Citrus Park Elementary 7 years ago. I am now in 10th grade at Land O' Lakes high school. Although it has been a long time since elementary school, I know for a FACT that Mrs. Boner is nothing short of sweet! She's such a caring and kindhearted person and it hurts me so much to see her having these unnecessary troubles.

Mrs. Boner taught my self as well as my older brother and sister for 5th grade. I would have to say, in all the years of school I attended both while at citrus park or at any of level of education I received afterwards, she was the most attentive and constructive teacher I had. She went extremely beyond the class room and conventional education to teach life skills and general knowledge of how adult/real life would work once you were out of grade school. She was always, in great deal, a part of every school event either to help improve or assist the school it self or if it were to raise charitable funds for other causes. Along with that she was heavily involved in most extracurricular activities like the music and arts as well as physical education. She was always the voice of reason while I attended citrus park and you always could count on her to be there and help you when needed, or teach you why something is the way it is. Especially at such a crucial part of a child's developing life she had and I'm sure still has a way of reaching almost any and every student who gives her the slightest bit of their time and effort. She deserves nothing less than the recognition and respect of all that she has done for this school. Prior to reading this article I was unaware she still worked For citrus park. It now has been 13 years since I attended school here and the fact that she still is working and melding the minds of the young and next generations is remarkable to me. And it makes me proud and honored to have had such a caring teacher to assist me in transitioning from my youth to adolescents. The idea of allowing such an atrocity to happen to such an amazing teacher, woman, leader of that community, and some one who has literally put their life into that insitution of education would be deplorable decision, and the idea of replacing her a fools dream. Her invaluable experiences are worth more than any text book and the dedication she puts forth is unmatched anywhere i

She is a fabulous teacher. My son didn't even get to be in her classroom and I still know how great she is. My daughter in law was her student. They are now 25 years old. She is amazing! Loves her students!

This is disgusting. The district is trying to save money so they can pay for the board's exorbitant expenses. Let her stay until her official retirement date. They should be ashamed of themselves.

For someone who has dedicated so much of their time and really her life, to striving and focusing on educational excellence of her students. Is this how we repay our teachers? Who are already under compensated for everything they do.

Ms.Boner was my fifth grade teacher many years ago and she is one of the very few teachers I've had that I can truly say was an amazing teacher.

Mrs. Boner taught the curriculum and so much more. I was just telling someone the other day how my 5th grade teacher taught me how to set a table. I learned so many necessary life skills from her that I don't think I would have learned anywhere else. There should be more teachers like her. So sad to hear about this. She really has had a lasting impact on her students!
