This is a very nice establishment especially for us older crowds after work just want to sit down relax and enjoy good company and music it's not the people inside the establishment it's the people outside that can't get in due to being to young Mr.Js has been around for a long time and has a regular crowd good times and fun nothing bad

I am 72 years old been going to Mr J's for about 20 years I heard some things happen a couple of times but I've been there so many times and I feel safe I eat there listen to music and I drive from Racine Wisconsin because I feel a lot safer been around mature adults watch the mini football games and and if they close I will not have a good safe spot to go and watch the Green Bay Packers and enjoy the good food and music and play pool that's why I'm old school love that place

Its just embarrassing that we would have to leave (WHAT WE THOUGHT) was our home town, just to find another nice MATURE spot like Mr Jays. We are a BIG CITY, with many visitors that travel here because of our basketball and football team. Where do you think they hang out while here..... MR JAYS

MrJ's is a Very Safe place. I have been patronizing MrJ's for years. It is a Nice atmosphere to go to after a long day at work to socialize with other Mature Adults, Good Food, Great Music, Great Staff, and Great Security. Please Please Don't Close Them Down. This is one of the Safest places

Mr. J's has been an institution in the community since its founding by late Arlis Jones. The lack of social outlets in the Black community will only worsen with the closing of Mr. J's!!!

Im a nin drinker who, prior to pandemic freqented establishment for dinner dates with my Elders. Food is very good, staff friendly and food delicious. This place provides music and events apoealing to a number of cultural generations.

I love coming to Mr J’s and listening to the music and seeing all the friendly faces. You always blame an establishment for the crime that the city has going in because the thief’s would rather take from hard working people instead of getting a job. We as older adults love coming to hang out to have a good and if they close we no longer have any place to go
