A lot of the problems within the Matteo Ricci College are also problems within the University Honors Program. Thank you for highlighting these issues, and I hope that administration will create a more inclusive environment for everyone.

As a student of the College of Arts & Sciences I am disappointed by Matteo Ricci College. I am sad that the students who were under the impression that they would be receiving a quality, transformative education were robbed. I expect more from this institution.

I support this petition fully. I have experienced and witnessed many of the topics outlined in this document, and am appalled that nothing has been done to address these issues. MRC has the potential to be an innovative academic center at Seattle University, and frankly the nation, but its oppressive culture is holding back this potential.

Though I am a student in Arts and Sciences, I too am impacted by the resistance of MRC leadership to hearing the concerns that students have been raising for a decade, and the failure of MRC leadership to enact change.
